As Muslim communities around the world embrace the holy month of Ramadan, we at Global Study UK have joined in the celebrations across all our offices.
Ramadan is a time of reflection, gratitude, and community, and we are proud to honor this sacred month with our colleagues. From putting up special decorations, to hosting Iftar dinners, and organizing a Ramadan-themed University Fair in Egypt – we are honoring this special month and inviting our teams to embrace their culture and share their traditions.
Embracing the Spirit of Ramadan in Our Offices
To mark this special occasion, we have decorated our offices with traditional lanterns, crescent moons, and warm lights, creating an inviting atmosphere that reflects the beauty of Ramadan. More than just decorations, these symbols represent solidarity, community, and unity – values that resonate deeply with us.
One of the most cherished traditions of Ramadan is Iftar, the evening meal that breaks the fast. Across our offices, colleagues have come together to share Iftar dinners, exchanging customs and traditions from different cultures. This has been a beautiful opportunity to learn from one another and celebrate the diversity within our Global Study UK family.

What Ramadan Means to Our Team
Basmah (London)
“The tranquillity and serenity of Ramadan are unmatched. It is our holiest month of complete devotion to God, our faith in Islam (one of the 5 pillars), and to ourselves – encouraging us to strengthen our discipline and relationship to Islam. The act of fasting is not merely a physical act; it is a deeply spiritual, mental and emotional journey in which we replace bad habits with good ones, with the intention of continuing those good deeds beyond the month of Ramadan. Ramadan unites us in more ways than one, and further strengthens our ties with our family, friends, and neighbours. Ramadan Kareem! “
Jad (lebanon)
“Ramadan is a time to reflect on our spiritual journey, embrace self-discipline, and grow closer to our faith. It’s a month filled with peace, compassion, and a deep sense of community. The act of fasting reminds me to be grateful for the small blessings in life and to appreciate the hardships others may face. Ramadan also brings families and communities together, creating a sense of unity and understanding. Happy Ramadan to the Global Study UK family and everyone across the globe. May this blessed month fill your hearts with peace, your lives with joy, and your days with love and kindness.”
Manel (algeria)
“Ramadan holds a special place in our hearts – a time of reflection, growth, and togetherness. Through fasting, prayer, and charity, we strengthen our bond with God and each other – embracing compassion, patience, and gratitude. It reminds us to be mindful of others’ struggles and brings us closer in spirit and unity. We also love to decorate for Ramadan, and we’ve created a wonderful vibe in our office with candles, lanterns, and warm, inviting touches that reflect the spirit of the season. It truly makes the environment feel special and united.”
