This year, Easter falls on the 20th of April — a meaningful celebration in the UK that brings together joyful traditions, delicious food, family gatherings, and the uplifting spirit of renewal.
Originally rooted in Christian customs, Easter in the UK spans four days, beginning with Good Friday and ending on Easter Monday. The holiday beautifully blends religious significance with ancient folklore, symbolising new beginnings and the arrival of spring. Curiously, the word “Easter” has evolved from the ancient word “Eostre” – the ancient Goddess of spring and rebirth from Anglo-Sason mythology.

Easter Card Design Competition
To celebrate the occasion, we launched a company-wide Easter Card Design Competition.
This fun intitiative encouraged our teams to get creative and share their artistic flair. We’re thrilled to announce that the winning design came from our talented Web Developer, Ewelina Amrogowicz. Her digital card perfectly captured the cheerful spirit of the season, in combination with the Global Study UK’s brand identity.
Moreover, in true festive fashion, our offices have also received a seasonal makeover, adding a lovely, uplifting energy to our workspace. The decorations unclude bright florals, colourful eggs, and, of course, the iconic Easter Bunny. Across the UK, these symbols of Easter remind us of growth, joy, and togetherness — values we’re proud to celebrate as a team.
