On Friday 20th and Saturday 21st June, the Hilton Cairo Heliopolis buzzed with excitement and possibility as hundreds of eager students gathered for the Egypt Education Fair — the country’s largest summer university fair.
With more than 50 prestigious universities from across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe in attendance, the event served as a powerful showcase of international education opportunities available to Egyptian students.
The Fair provided a rare chance for students to connect directly with university representatives, ask questions, and understand the full scope of what studying abroad entails. Whether they were just starting to consider an international degree or already had their sights set on a specific destination, the event offered invaluable insights, practical resources, and personalised advice all under one roof.

The screens allowed students to browse an extensive range of programs, destinations, and career-focused pathways. These digital displays highlighted “game-changing domains” in higher education, helping students discover study options tailored to the future of education — across the UK, USA, UAE, Spain, Germany, Europe, and beyond.
This hands-on experience turned passive browsing into active exploration. Instead of just reading brochures or listening to presentations, students could engage directly with dynamic content — exploring degree options in everything from engineering and business to design and digital technology. It added a layer of personalization and innovation that made a lasting impression.
A First Look at Student Life Abroad
A standout highlight of the event was the Kaplan Living experience — a life-sized recreation of an actual student dorm room abroad.
This immersive feature offered students a rare and exciting opportunity to physically step into what their future accommodation might look like. It wasn’t just a display—it was a walk-in preview of the next chapter of their lives.
Complete with realistic furniture, décor, and a layout based on real Kaplan-managed residences in the UK, the room gave students and parents a true-to-life feel of what to expect. From comfortable beds and private study areas to communal elements and storage, every detail was thoughtfully included to ease nerves and build excitement.
It was also a chance to talk with student housing experts, who were on hand to answer practical questions about costs, safety, facilities, and lifestyle. Whether students were heading to the UK or another destination, they left with a clearer picture of their future—and a lot more confidence in the journey ahead.
