Unfortunately, many bright and talented students around the world face barriers due to a lack of essential resources – especially technological devices.
In today’s world, technology is inseparable from daily life, whether in the personal, academic, or professional sphere. In education, it plays a crucial role in enhancing learning experiences, supporting both students and teachers inside and outside the classroom. However, not all students have access to the digital tools they need, making it harder for them to reach their full potential.
Closing the Gap in Educational Access
A strong academic foundation is essential for students to successfully apply to university.
However limited access to technology can curb opportunities and impact their future prospects. As much as we would love for international education to be accessible to every young student, the reality is that many still face challenges due to insufficient resources.
We believe that every small act of support can create a significant impact. That’s why we continuously seek ways to give back, ensuring that students, regardless of their circumstances, have the tools they need to succeed. Our commitment extends beyond education – we also believe in the power of technology and innovation to shape a better, more inclusive world.
This month, we took a small but meaningful step by donating extra laptops from our Egypt offices to local high schools and a charity organisation. Our high school team personally visited the institutions, met with counsellors and educators, and discussed how technology could enhance the learning experience.

Making a Difference: Laptop Giveaways in Egypt

Al Waha School – Mokattam
Al Waha School, a well-known Islamic school in Mokattam, provides quality education while ensuring student well-being. The school’s counsellor, Mrs. Bassant, is dedicated to supporting her students academically and personally. However, she shared with us that many of her students do not own a laptop, making it difficult for them to complete assignments and fully engage with digital learning.
With our laptop donation, Mrs. Bassant will now be able to lend devices to students in need, helping them keep up with their studies and access the resources necessary for academic success.
Manaret El Farouk Islamic School
Manaret El Farouk Islamic School integrates Islamic studies into its curriculum while fostering academic excellence. The school’s counsellor, Mrs. Hala, was thrilled to receive laptops for her students. She explained that these devices will be available for students to borrow whenever needed, helping them complete assignments, conduct research, and stay on track with their education. Additionally, teachers will benefit as well, using the laptops for teaching, lesson planning, and grading.
Dar El Orman Charity Organization
Beyond supporting schools, we also donated a number of laptops to Dar El Orman, a charitable organization running orphanages in Egypt. The donated laptops will be integrated into the organization’s educational programs, helping children develop essential digital skills. These devices will open new doors for young learners who otherwise might not have had access to such resources. By equipping these children with technology, we aim to empower them with the tools needed to build a brighter future, enhancing their education and career prospects.
Empowering Students for a Brighter Future

Every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve their dreams.
By supporting initiatives like these, we hope to make a tangible difference in the lives of young learners, giving them the confidence and resources to achieve their academic dreams and build successful futures.
We hope these laptops will enhance students’ learning experiences, giving them a better chance to pursue higher education. Access to technology should never be a barrier to academic success, and we are proud to play a small role in making education more inclusive and accessible.
We remain committed to supporting students at all levels and will continue to explore ways to improve global access to education.
